I planted most of my seeds on February 24
th. That makes 50 days that I have been gardening. It feels like I am not seeing much progress but I am hoping the vegetables will start growing a little faster now that all the plants are getting a nice dose of warm sun all morning. Today I put out a little tiny bit of fertilizer and watered. This spinach looks like it is going to be good to eat one of these days.
I wanted to share the pictures of the red and green strawberries we are growing that I think are really lovely and impressive.
I planted cucumbers in the very last little spot that I have left in the raised beds. I have a friend that said I MUST plant okra. I would love to plant okra but I have run out of space.
I also tested the pH of the soil today. It looks like the soil is somewhere between neutral and alkaline. The kit says it is hard to change the pH of the soil so, I am hoping that tomatoes like soil high in pH.
