Welcome to Okra-homa. Home of the tasty and fast growing okra.

There are two ways we know of to eat okra. The first way is to fry it. It was pretty good, but if you let it stay too long on the vine it gets tough and it's not very good fried.
The next way to prepare it is to boil it and put some salt and pepper on it. It's a bit slimmy, but very good. Young tender okra is really good prepared this way. I had forgotten how much I liked boiled okra.
Do you see these yellowish peppers in this bowl? They are so hot they are dangerous. They are so hot you think you are going to die if you eat them. Any suggestions on who we might give these to as a gift? A few thoughts are going through my head. I wonder if you are thinking what I'm thinking.
