A Wonderful Mother's Day

Mother's day at my house was extrememly relaxing and peaceful; full of hugs and kisses, very thoughtful cards and a extremely sweet call from my daughter in college. I am so thankful for my children. I would never say this job is easy. It's not. I will say His strength is perfect in my weakness. I am so very thankful for the children that He has entrusted me with and I hope and pray that the time I have with them is used for His glory. I love you both so very much - more than all the pigs and cows and chickens in the world!
My husband very graciously turned off the golf tournament he was watching to take me to the garden center to get these plants for my new flower boxes. I am so grateful for my husband who appreciates all my work as a mom.

As I look out the kitchen window now I am reminded of my lovely Mother's Day.
Mother's Day will always be a little sad for me since my mom passed away in 2008. I am so grateful for all the things she taught me in the 45 years that we had together. She was the greatest mom that any girl could ask for.

I am so extremely grateful to my mom and grandmothers for the Godly heritage that they wove into our family. I love you and miss you all!
